Edited 5 months agoReviewing every record in my collection;
Leaving the quality of the album itself aside since... It's not good at all, I must say this first pressing's sound blew me away; it's definitely mastered perfectly for an EDM, which makes it an album that when it shines (Like the first Few tracks) It does it brightly, and when it's time to come down on the quieter, less punchy sides of the album it may be less spectacular but still delivers. The album may be a stinker, but this pressing is a 10/10 -

This beats the pants off the CD, but I don’t poopoo the CD entirely as it’s just mastered differently. CD is clear but sounds “cold” and “harsh.” This LP is very well balanced. I put each the CD and LP to Type 4 Metal cassettes. I asked friends which cassette sounded better and the LP mix always wins.
Can people with crosleys please stop posting reviews? You’re the only ones saying this sounds bad.
This sounds very natural like an 80s mastering. -
I just purchased this record for CA$50 on Amazon (March 2022). I think this might be part of a wider rerelease coming very soon - either that, or they were holding on to some SUPER old stock and just unearthed it in a warehouse.

Just did a comparison with the CD and, yes, the vinyl sounds a lot better than the CD. The comment below that tells you to stick with the CD cause the vinyl sounds flat must be joking. It is the CD that sounds flat, not the vinyl. I'm not saying you should buy this for a zillion dollars, my vinyl was about $18-20 cause I bought it as it came out, but if not the vinyl, you should go for a higher resolution than the CD.

I just listened to this tonight after getting a deal from a seller on eBay. There is a reason this is expensive if you have an amplifier and a good turntable this is completely like listening to another Album.... Then I tried it on my original starter player... Sounded like the CD.... If you have or are planning to get a good setup.. in my opinion The Price is well worth it

Stunned by how good this is on vinyl. I was not expecting the sound to be as clean and rich as it comes through.
