Notes
Limited to 5,000 copies.
Unlike the original 2007 issue, this edition is packaged in a single glossy outer sleeve with a reproduction of the sticker that sealed the first pressing printed directly onto the cover. The orange and yellow inner sleeves with lyrics are very similar to the originals.
Includes round red hype sticker on original plastic seal.
As this is pressed from the 2008 DMM masters, tracks A1 and B2 does not contain the intro and outro from the original versions from the 2007 vinyl and CD issues.
Includes a card that allows you to the 11-track edition of the album, which includes the bonus track "I See Who You Are (Mark Bell Mix)".

Excellent press! One of the better sounder Björk albums I own. A little surface noisy in between tracks but nothing distracting. The colors are a nice touch too, love the orangey red and highlighter green!
-
I really enjoy this album on vinyl, kinda sad they shortened earth intruders. The 2nd disc is so bright neon yellow/green highlighter! Very beautiful but doesn’t fit the cover at all lmao. I also really like the Asian harps in this album.
-
my second disc is certainly nosier than the first, but not distractingly so. sounds pretty amazing overall.
-
packaging is gorgeous and glossy and records are perfect colours for the album and sound INCREDIBLE. really happy with this

Edited 3 years agoDoesn’t really sound that “good”. I was expecting a little bit more from a “DMM” pressing (they used the 2008 45 rpm DMM masters for this reissue). The vocals are a little bit muffled and the sound is overall a little flat. There’s also lot of surface noise on “The Dull Flame of Desire”, for some reason. My red disc wasn’t “off-center”, like a lot of reviewers say theirs were, so I guess there are okay copies in that right. Did they put 80 pounds of pigment into that yellow disc??? Because it even glows the dark, jeez.

Although this is not my favorite Björk album, the quality of this pressing is undeniable! Absolutely amazing pressing!
-
the sound quality on this is pretty flawless. the sticker is offcenter on the red record though, mostly on side b. doesn't affect anything though

The sound quality of this 45rpm release is pretty good, but my copy did have some surface noise in several obvious places. However, why is "Earth Intruders" edited down? They removed the intro slushing noise in the beginning and the foghorns at the end. It can't be because of running time because there are only two songs on side A! And yeah, it's just noise, but it's still part of the album.

Anyone got a defective copy? As in the hole wasn't punched right in the center, so the record got stuck while spinning. My red LP is like this and I can't get it to play. Frustrating.
