Holy &?@! this pressing sounds incredible! The guitars and drums are so powerful without drowning out the vocals, and my god the bass! It’s not boomy or out of control, just incredibly present and the kick drum really has that chest thump you want from a rock record. Very pleased!

Edited 3 months agoside 3 made me buy this album (not just everlong) and i have to say the sound quality is superb

I just (accidentally) bought a second copy of this, thinking it was a 2011 I was going to test drive. Anyway, one version is the variant 1 matrix listed here with “23387” the other is variant 2, the matrix variant runout without. Both have “CB” and such. I find these two LPs look and sound fairly different.
The variant 1 w/ 23387 has a lot less runout groove on side 1 (~30mm vs ~55mm on variant 2). Variant 1 also (IMHO) sonically punches the snot out of variant 2. Variant 1 has a lot more bass presence and grungy guitar goodness.
My two cents, these variants are different cuts. Not an expert on these things…Maybe there’s another listing I’m missing? Any thoughts fellow nerds? -
Absolutely true! I own both Usa and this release, but this release plays far more better, much more full! I recommend it to everybody! Now saving for buying first press USA. I want the final comparison!

Yeah this is one of the best vinyls I have ever owned.

Simply put: flawless.
From the mastering, to the pressing, it's pure joy you're listening to. Maybe peak Foo Fighters, one could argue, and a release that lives up to that high standard.
Grab it!

Easily one of the best sounding rock albums I own! Absolute fire. Silent vinyl. Dynamic sound. Awesome tunes

Beautiful pressing. I’m in awe. One of my best sounding rock records for sure. I’m rediscovering this classic album all over again with what I hear.

People, this sounds just gorgeous. Huge sound. Yes, give it a cleaning. I brushed it twice with Ursa Major, twice with a regular carbon brush and once with Zeiss glass cloth (those tiny wonder thingies really eliminate static). Treat the vinyl with new padded innersleeves and you‘re perfectly fine.
Yes, no printed inner, but:
it sounds gorgeous! I own the original CD since the initial release back then. This here is a revelation.
Enjoy!!! -
Amazing sounding record ! Flat, quiet, Deep bass, punchy...One of the best sounding "rock" lp in my collection !!
