Edited 8 months agoMine is a mixed bag...overall sounds good, but some distortion and many sections with crackles no matter how many times I deep clean it with Record Doctor. (And I don't mean the intentional crackles in certain songs like An Echo A Stain or Sun in My Mouth). Disappointing! But I have found that much like Mute Records, almost ALL of One Little Indian original vinyl releases are crappy. Maybe they improved on the re-issues...? -

My copy sounds fantastic. I will it there is some popping, but I bought it second hand so I think that could be overlooked.
Some issues from crackling are likely from age as well as the paper inner sleeves. -
Cocoon is extremely similar to Opiate - Insert from Opiate / Dub Tractor - Opiate / Dub Tractor Split. I'm literally shook. -
How about the pressing and sound quality? Mine is a little bit too noisy, I mean, the vinyl crackle. -
