Bah, I stuck my sticker on my car thinking it was weatherproof. Alas, it is not. :(

Does it have any difference from OG pressing?

One kidney is probably fine *sigh*

BOC's first official release on a label and what a great way to start. This mini-album perfectly set the tone for the first period of their widely heard music. This along with Hi Scores and Music Has the Right to Children make up an intriguing and moody trilogy of atmospheric and brilliantly produced tunes, dark but always with a sense of light at the end of the tunnel. I'm currently listening to the 2013 warp vinyl reissue and it sounds amazing. In general their music feels warmer and richer on vinyl.

With quite an exceptional piece of electronica(not to overstate too much mind) this isn't classic melodies all round , rather than merely fuse together the path the 'Boards' had/have & are taking currently. There's still plenty of their(unreleased) material out there, going back to 1987!! But we'll just have to see if they'll release any more past evolutions in electronica for now.Being a fan since 'Music Has..' in '98 I follow these guys like icons. Back to the review: Some quirky, melodic tracks in the true Boards flavour. 'Base Free' is a real mind blower of a track, fast in tempo yet earnest in its chords in only they can make it. The tracks really do have an orphaned feel to it, yet to grow & culminate into the sound only they have nailed & now imitated by others too. BUY THIS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE PEEPZ!
