I think this sounds pretty good especially for the money. Mine does have a pretty loud tape hum on the quiet part during the beginning of title track, Bitches Brew, which is side 2. Is this a product of the master recording?
-
Wow! Now I know what all the hype is about, first time listen for me @65yrs. Truly amazing , nice pressing, 180g 99.8 % flat, nice quiet between tracks. Looking to listen to over again and again with colour organ in room

For my ears it sound very good. But on my version the Matrix / Runout is missing. Does somebody knows if this is an bootleg or an unofficial release?

Edited 2 years agoGreat release and pressure. The stage is wide, the balance is even. All the musicians are in their places. I enjoyed listening with headphones and external acoustics. In pauses and quiet places, you can hear the noise of the master tape. The mass is quiet, the disks are flat, there are no clicks.
The envelope (sleeve) is of good quality, the colors are expressive, the pattern is clear. The inner envelopes are ordinary with antistatic. In general, the cover, discs and content are excellent: 5 out of 5.

Compared to the 1987 CD release, this version is superior in every way, especially when it comes to high frequencies and soundstage.

Edited 2 years agoWanted the MOFI but picked this at local record store and very happy with the sound quality. Might I still get the MOFI if it becomes available…..maybe, but no complaints with this one

Edited 3 months agoBought this for a few bucks second hand.
Had the MOV release in my wantlist, but bought it though.
At second sight I saw it has the MOVLP020 matrix in the runout ;)
This one rocks! Full and wide soundstage, brillant highs and warm lows.
Dead silent as expected from Music on Vinyl.
So if you get to get the MOVLP 020 runout, buy it! -
Just bought new. This is a perfectly sounding record, powerful, dead silent. Superb mastering, all the instruments are clearly identifieble even in the crowded sections. I love it.

Picked this up used, I'm fairly confident this is the pressing I have. It's not audiophile quality but it's pretty damn good. Mine has a bit of surface noise on the run-ins but I figure it needs a good cleaning. Overall, good pressing!
