Aside from Beatmaster Clay D & The Get Funky Crew's 1988 album ("You be You and I be Me"), there were no other Miami Bass LP's to enter the 2nd Wave sound of the genre. It must be noted that Gigolo Tony as an artist may not be to blame for the shear quality and -- ahem -- "Foresight" of this though; he was just a rapper hired on the 4-Sight's roster to play a money making role in the 1985 Roxanne diss records debacle, only to follow with a string of "Cartoon Melody" records inspired by the success of Doug E. Fresh's "The Show". It was DJ Cutmaster Crash who headed up the sound of this album. Much like it wasn't Clay D behind the sound of "You Be You" that year, it was the uncredited DJ, none other than DJ Magic Mike. With these two albums, the whole genre found it's sound for the next four years. Talk about foresight...
