Cannot understand the folks thrashing Brown's vocals here. Those are fantastic! Pure in tone, musical and melodic, singing mystical lyrics (presumably inspired by "Dune") to an equally mystical music. After reading the reviews I expected a disaster of carrier-destroying proportions but it looks like there simply are some fanatical purists who only want Klaus's music to be instrumental. Bollocks! "Shadows of ignorance" is a great success and is rapidly entering the list of my favourites - I only discovered it today and am already on the third listen in a row!
This reminds me of the thrashing Tangerine Dream's "Cyclone" gets - while in reality, say, "Bent cold sidewalk" is a perfect piece of music and has to be heard to be believed! Come on, people, don't be so close-minded and stiff! -
