Blink-182 is the eponymously-titled fifth studio album by the American pop punk band Blink-182. It was produced by Jerry Finn, and was released on November 18, 2003 through Geffen Records. Recorded throughout 2003, Blink-182 marks a departure from the band's earlier work, infusing experimental elements into their usual pop punk sound, inspired by lifestyle changes (the band all became fathers before the album was released) and side projects.
Owing largely to pre-release hype about the revamped sound the band would display on this release, there is some debate as to whether the album was intended to be untitled (so as to discourage preconceptions and represent a new beginning) or self-titled. Amongst music publications and online stores it is most commonly referred to as being self-titled.
It was first released on CD, cassette, and for digital in 2003. It was the first Blink-182 album released immediately for digital outlets. Each CD was an enhanced CD, providing extra content (in this case, home-made music videos). In 2004, a European special edition collected the videos and many more in a CD/DVD package, in addition the original album. In 2010, independent label Mightier Than Sword released the album for the first time on vinyl (a very limited re-press followed in 2011). In 2015 the album was rereleased on cassette by SRC Vinyl. In 2016 SRC Vinyl released a remastered 2xLP on 180 gram vinyl.

Believe the hype, this is a fantastic cut and definitely better than the previous pressing I had (European back to black, which is also a great press and definitely no slouch!)
Wide open, great sounding bass, excellent balance and the drums sound fantastic. My only complaint, I was really excited to get Not Now on vinyl, because it's one of my favorite Blink songs - but it seems to me like the source for that song was different, because it feels much more compressed sounding than the rest of the album.
But, still thrilled to have this even though I paid a (though I still feel like I got a deal based on what they go for, and it was worth every penny) -

Have had this one for a few years, and recently decided to the Kevin Gray SRC press. I love all of Kevin’s work and this is one of my favorite albums, so I decided to pull the trigger once I found a decently priced copy.
I have to say - the Kevin Gray press is a bit better, but this one is still damn good. I’ve always liked Optimal’s mastering work, specifically Marlo Kluge (MK) who mastered this one. This one has a punchy low end and really nice balance / soundstage. The only knock I have on it is that the drum sounds suffer from a bit of compression in the high end, but the low end and mids are fantastic.
A great alternative if you don’t want to break the bank on a Kevin Gray / SRC press. Or, if you’re a stickler for having the Asthenia / Always transition intact, this may be the best version for you. Well worth the ~$40 it goes for. -
#1364. Anyone else have a blank label on Side A? Mine has the same blank Side A label as the etched Side D. Other than that, great pressing and cool packaging. -

0038 here, I've never really been a Blink 182 fan, but just wow, I'm glad I'm a member of this subscription service it's introduced me to some good stuff. This is super dynamic on my system, and I really like the presentation. The bass seems deep, and the highs balanced was a very pleasing experience listening to and discovering this record. -
#0256 like what they did with the cover being white, and it looks good with clear vinyl. Sadly mine came scratched on the picture side and then I noticed some on either side a or b, haven’t had a chance to play it so I’ll come back and update how it sounds
