The 45 adapter fits just fine for me. I did have to adjust my thinking to how it works though, it doesn't exactly squeeze through the record, instead I lay the record down on the mat, then place the adapter down into it. The fit is slight but it works just fine. The vinyl itself is a bit noisy, not one of their better pressings imho.

Like everyone else, the 45 adapter is not functional and does not fit these, or any, 45s. It's a shame, because it's a nice looking and heavy piece. All of my records have a slight warp, but nothing that impacts the records. I was also missing the postcard of the outside of the Sun building. I asked Third Man for a replacement, but I'm not holding my breath on receiving it. This is my third Third Man Vault purchase and all three have had issues or were poor pressings.

Looks great sounds great well pressed I’ve had the original 45s and they can sound dull and have hiss on pressings
-
I cannot tell from the posted photos, but is anyone else dissatisfied with the colorway of these pressings? They basically look like mustard yellow with a few wisps of brown, nothing like the promo photos. I know this can (and does) frequently happen but I am kinda disappointed since TMR presses their own records and should have a pretty good idea of what they are going to look like.

Has it been confirmed anywhere if anyone received the one “golden ticket” set containing the original Sun pressings?

Brilliant 45's boxset of Elvis Presley. Nice records. Pretty firm, flat and quiet. However the 45 adapter doesn't fit. Nice photo of a young Elvis on the cover

Edited one year agoHappy with the pressing, the colored vinyl, the selections—really cool set. It’s totally silly, however, that the Sun Rooster 7” adapter doesn’t fit the 45s. My other 7” adapters do fit! What a weird QC miss.
