Hard to tell exactly where the tracks begin and end, but that is one thing I love about this record. It's like you have to listen to it in its entirety to really experience it. 5/5 Hidden LoFi Hip Hop Gem!

To be honest my first access to this was through some mp3's I scoured for. The version of the B side I owned for about 5 years was cut to 7 minutes, only a fraction of the actual song. Now that I bought the wax (it's pretty worn). I am hearing the full version for the first time right now as I am writing this review. I can honestly say that I feel as if I have been missing out on something very special. While the A side consists of stellar lo-fi ambient experiments, and contains some deep percussion work, beautiful soundscapes, and some field recording cuts of midnight trains rolling on the tracks The B side is an absolute marvel. As the caption on the disc implies (non-rhythm) this is pure 3 a.m. ambient bliss, that takes you to a lonely city. Awe inspiring, and beautiful. I I met Scott in a Prefuse show back in like 2010, I asked if would ever make a new Delarosa & Asora record. He said no, but that he would create something like it. It broke my heart a little bit, but I have been waiting for that record since. This is 5* material.

While it is possible to draw a dotted line between Mo'Wax instrumental hip-hop influenced tracks and this record, I think the release of Sleep Method Suite signaled a new direction. It was the perfect balance of ambient and instrumental hip hop - to make you nod your head and feed your mind. It was Scott Herren's first full length and is always nice to come home to.

Scott has moved on with his sound, but tracks like "Filth" and "Gnosis Rhyme & Bullshit" will stand the test of time.

This is by FAR the best Scott Harren release to date. It's a perfect mix of Savath's downtempo and Prefuse's abstractness. It's very spacey and mellow. A lot of nice drum breaks too, something for everyone.
