As I read in someone's review, on another version, this one seems to lack the dynamics of the digital album. I don't get much mid in the sound, and when listening to Setting Sun I feel that bass should be deeper.
Of course cranking this album is the way to go, but it feels a little hollow sounding.
Weird, since none of the tracks are pushing the time limits of a single side of record, and the grooves look wide.
My pressing is dirty, too. I can see lots of imperfections in the vinyl when looking under a light, and there are a few clicks.

If its so hard to make it sound the best on 2 LPs, why not to release the 3LPs version with ultimate quality. Its a legendary album. It would sell.

This is a great pressing. Very clean and clear sound with good volume. So glad these are coming out again so they can be bought new.

Superb pressing. High quality release, the sound is maybe a bit thin but nothing major and only my opinion.

This is an exact replica of the original 1997 pressing, from the album artwork to the music itself. The original versions suffered from the same slight dip in audio quality depending on the side because of the way the album tracks are divided. There's virtually no other way they could fit the album onto 2 LPs.

For what it's worth, this sounds better than the white vinyl version that's out there, due to black vinyl *always* sounding better and purer than gimmicky colored vinyl. This is certainly the case here.

Nice pressing. Very well replicated bass.
Only issues I can think of are that the first LP has noises in the runout groves on each side, and some sides are louder than others (due to some sides being longer and having to be cut quietly)
