Does anyone know if this was pressed with the same stampers as the original? I have all three Fall Line reissues on white vinyl; I'm sure that the scratched out matrix # on this copy is the same as the one on the Kamera pressing. At least as far as I can make out. -
Excellent quiet pressing. Superb separation and soundstage, especially on headphones.
Don't pay scalper prices for an original OG with Groove Wear when you can have this for half the price. -
Anybody know how this compares to a uk og??? Would be appreciated -

Edited 7 months agoI've not heard the 2019 pressing but to my 53 year old ears this sounds great. The oringle 60 minute album Hex is now spread out over 4 sides. Record perfect - flat, silent, no pops or crackles. The record looks perfect. Lovely solid gatefold with clear graphics. Nice thick inner sleeves. -
This is the same cut as the 2019 edition but pressed onto lovely flat black vinyl and, therefore, sounding better than the 2019 release. Short of the masters being found in useable shape (chance = nil), this is the last copy of Hex you'll ever need. -
All discs flat. No surface noise whatsoever. A beautiful thing indeed! -
This version bests my original Kamera pressing, as it would now there is room to live. I had the privilege to call MES a friend and I asked him why this wasn’t this originally spread over 2 lp’s and his answer was double albums were bloated and it’s still sounded great on just the one. No argument there but this new one is a massive improvement. None of mine were warped and the all were dead quiet after giving them a deep cleaning. Great reissue of one of the best albums ever made! -
Edited one year agoVery, very pleased with this pressing. Mine sounds great and zero issues with warping, although sorry to hear it happened to others. I'd be willing to bet this is even better than original pressings because it has the space it needs.
The content, of course... what can you say. The band was literally possessed by genius throughout this era, and this could well be the best of all of them.
